# How it works?

## 1. Staking/Converting

Stake your points-earning assets in the staking contract to start earning points . For instance, by staking pufETH, you earn Puffer Points which are credited to your Point Market account and can then be minted as tradable tokens. **\*\*Note\*\* There's a 1% converting fee.**

## 2. Minting

Once you have started earning points, you can mint these into tradable tokens directly through point market platform. This process is secure and ensures that you receive tokens proportional to your points earned.

## 3. Redeeming Points

Redeem your tradable tokens for actual project tokens when they launch. This is a simple process that can be initiated from your dashboard on Point Market.
